I love reading books and also love to extract maximum positive things from it.

Storyline of The Book

This is a story about a girl called Cara and her emotional journey.

The story starts with an agreement between Cara and her friend Reid about not opening the close doors of their past and not to discuss anything related to their yore.

Writing and reading was an easy way to escape from the dark truth of her annoying and quarrelsome parents for Cara.
The still window and Cara's best friend Adam Aether were her silent audience since when they were five years old. He was her next-door neighbor.

The warm blanket of Adam and chilled nights had witnessed several tears, whenever Cara had opened her heart in front of him.

Her Father calls her Pen Pal but had never listened to her stories and even crashed her favorite Christmas gift, the gift was really close to her heart. Her father has been a high- functioning drunkard. Her mother was obsessed with cleaning and had neglected her.

She was enduring silently her parents fake status show-offs and
Adam was the only person in her life who had made her laugh in every possible way and relieved her from pain.
With the passage of time as they grew Adam being a fatso had never abandoned his dreams of becoming a football player and Cara choose to be in the writing club.
New friends, a new circle had built a short distance between them, and they lost in following their goals, but Adam was always her constant support.
In a short while, Adam understood Cara is the one for her as a life partner.

With lots of twists and turns, the story answers many questions like:

Whether they will end up together or destiny will play some foul conspiracy!
Who is Reid then!
Why Cara got magnetized towards him!
Is Reid is a product of serendipity!

Key Takeaways From The Book

  1. A true friend always cares and stands for you no matter what the situation is.
  2. If you are determined to achieve your goal, nothing can drag you back from achieving it.
  3. Real love is not always about physical appearance but it's about loving the real person.
  4. No matter what life throws at you be strong and bounce back.
  5. If you are facing a writing block, get some open-air, surrender yourself to nature for some time.
  6. Organ donation is an opportunity to help others, some part of you can remain alive in someone's body even after your death.
Receiving an organ can become a life-changing event for many people.
  7. Writing helps in healing the soul.

Why Love is Powerful?

The human mind is crammed with different emotions. Be it happiness, sadness, love, anger, surprise, fear, or disgust each one of them had always arisen at some moment of life.

All of them are powerful and dangerous if are not handled properly. But if someone asks me which one is the most powerful amongst all? Without a second thought, my answer will be, "love".

Because love is the feeling that can make you addictive dependence on the person whom you love without any intoxication or drugs, it has the majestic power that can gift you the best feeling by releasing oxytocin and dopamine which are well known for happiness, and at the same time, it can kill your soul, bleed your heart and make you paralyzed in every possible way leaving you with an internal unbearable pain.

It has the ability to give birth to many other emotions like anger, jealousy, stress, and anxiety. It represents sacrifice and gratitude.

It can become your biggest strength or may turn out to be your hugest weakness.

It can make you the biggest predator and also can turn you into the weakest prey.

That's why I love reading romantic novels, they help me to understand better about this sensitive emotion. last month I was fortunate to grab a book called Breathtaking, which is a romantic novel by Courtney Turcotte Bond, and I loved it. The book had touched every single thread of my emotions.

Conclusion

The book has everything a reader wants to read.

It has humor, anger, motivation, love, friendship, poetry, life lessons, and a strong social message of organ donation.
It is impossible not to fall in love with this book.
The book is written in such a way that you will live the characters while reading which will force you to flip the pages and it will leave you with a teary-eyed in the end.
Witness how Cara's personality took a bold turn and how she is seeing things through different perspectives, taking the lead in her decisions towards life.

We can learn various life lessons like how to bounce back in life.
