Illusions by Steven Spellman is a 22-page short novel that was published on June 30, 2018 by Steven Spellman Books, LLC. The author was sitting in a room waiting for a job interview when he knew that he wanted to be a writer. He has been writing ever sense.
What makes a man infatuated with another woman? I don't think we will ever know why this is. The first time this neighbor sees her, he is lusting after her. She is his neighbors niece who will be house sitting. The girl seems to be every where this neighbor is which makes it hard since he loves his wife. The man tries to get her out of his mind, the wife knows something but what. Then the wife goes on a business trip which makes it even harder on the man. He can't seem to concentrate the niece is constantly on his mind. He compares the niece to what his wife used to be. How it ends is a twist which you will have to read to find out what happens.

Illusions is a easy read but for adults. This short book caught my attention from the first paragraph in which I had to read it til the end. This is from the viewpoint of a man and what went on his mind when he was infatuated with the neighbors niece. It is spellbinding with a twist you don't see coming.
I would recommend this book to any adults that like short stories that deal with an issue that occurs all the time.
