Brandie
Brandie Barrett
Well, I’ve tasted every brew
From the foulest rot-gut
To the finest wine
I’ve drank white lightnin’
And homemade ale
As a teen, Boone’s Farm
Was my favorite kind
Oh, Blackberry Ridge
Was quite a dandy
But that sweet nectar taste
Couldn’t compare to my Brandie
I’ve had exotic drinks
From faraway lands
Oscar, Absinthe, and Mojo
I’ve drank from steins
Beer-bongs and flaming shot glasses
And Dos Equis bottles
In Ol’ Mexico
Oh, those drinks were spicy
And were quite dandy
They burned going down
But were never as hot as Brandie
Wedges of lime on salt rimmed glasses
Tiny red umbrellas
Strewn on the floor
With cherries and olives
And a pyramid chant
One tequila, two tequila
Three tequila, four
Those classy martini glasses
Sure are dandy
But none have curves
Quite like my Brandie
Jack Daniels and Jim Beam
Vodka and Gin
Have taken my breath away
But here comes the punch
That will knock me for a loop
Intoxicate, inebriate
Make me stagger and sway
And tomorrows hangover
Will be quite a dandy
Because tonight I'm going to
Drown myself in Brandie
