Your tapping toes get ya outta your seat
It’s time for dancing so jump to your feet
The place is hopping, the beat is popping
High fives clapping, ain’t no stopping
Giggles, snorts and laughs abound
Plenty of cheer to go all ‘round
The bubbly pops and fills the glass
Excitement’s heard from a giggly lass
Toots and whistles are crystal clear
The strike of midnight is soon to appear
The countdown soon will be ready to go
The clock will indeed let you know
A new year is waiting for everyone
