How To Build An Opening

Updated on July 18, 2013

We All Have To Start Somewhere

I came to build a platform

I got lots of wood

Then bags and bags of screws

Then I was deciding where to put it

In my yard I had just the spot

In the corner under a tree

So I can be in the shade

My neighbor came over and said did you pull a permit

Oh no I forgot I needed one

I just didn't think of it

I was so busy picking out the pressure treated wood so it can last for a long time

Then the right size galvinized screws to hold it together

A little more expensive than nails but worth it in the long run

My neighbor said he would gladly help

Now waiting to see the inspector who handles all permits

He won't be back till Monday he is on vacation

I will just have to wait

So I thought if I can't build a platform right now

Why not build an opening

First have you ever seen anyone build an opening before ?

I am not talking any old opening

Not like a door or a window

Well let me explain

I am building an opening line

One that will make readers want to read more

That will attract readers from all over the country

Now for that I have to use all my creative ideas

Then when you come I have to keep you here so you will read more

How about lunch ?

Now that could be a little bit expensive so let me try it out on the first hubbers who read this far

O.k. your busy at 2:00 tomorrow how about the day after

Busy for that day too

How about next week

Still busy

Wow this is harder than it looks

I guess I will owe you lunch sometime in the future

Well since your here and read this far

Here goes nothing

I grew up with lots of dreams

Many of my dreams have traveled far and wide and went side by side the fish

Bubbling in every stream

I never gave up and now I am dreaming more than ever

No longer a young boy I am now a man

The dreams have been expanding and growing

They come in many different shapes and colors

Quite a display if I say so myself

These dreams were once my dreams now they are shared

For all my hubbers who read any hub I write

My only wish is give you a laugh and make your day better than when it started

To see you smile uncontrollably for no reason

To see you keep coming back for more

Then I have no choice but to write and write the best I can

Learning,living and having fun

As if I was that little kid who couldn't get enough

By the end of the day was so exhausted

Then went to bed after he prayed

For just one more day
