The call of the wild~

For offspring to be conceived~

Is what makes life~

Fulfilled and awesomely free!

It started a long time ago~

The timing regimented or~

Coming in random waves~

As like the male wolf~

Seeks his strong mate.

For each species it is different~

From baubles to fine feathers~

Much the same for you and me~

This wonderment is a natural parade~

We cultivate together.

The call of the wild~

Goes sometimes seasonally~

The mating ritual for all animals~

Is a normal developmental deed.

It is the two hawks who fly~

Teeter twatering in the sky~

They look for the best place~

To make their nest as I drive by.

For man and the woman~

It is called making love~

And from that time on~

There is created life~

From GOD above.

The call of the wild~

Is how the world populates~

While some might call it nature~

Others might call it a beloved fate.

As the wild male turkey~

Does his decorative dance~

We can see nature~

For this single tradition enhanced.

All around the world~

Given any time and any place~

Ceremonial breeding~

Is done casually or with delicate grace.

Permanently some animals pair off~

Like the vibrant male Cardinal and~

His not so flamboyant mate~

I see them nurturing a loft the~

Wooden ruddy arbor’s gate.

The call of the wild~

Is the repetitive assist~

To all beings to reproduce~

And being survived to exist.

I see rascally chipmunks~

Chase each other~

The female tries to ward off her suitor~

As if the male seems such a bother.
