ABOUT GINNY...CONTINUATION
Ginny stood back and took stock of herself in the full length mirror on the bathroom door. The image that stared back at her showed a pretty face with chin length sexy hair, large almond shaped honey colored eyes, attached to a healthy slender body. "Smile Ginny" she told herself, "isn't this what you want?" But the woman that stared back at her almost seemed like a stranger.
She was thirty-three years old, but was always being told that she still looked twenty something. In a way, that's how her relationship with Marc came to be...
They had moved again. Paul had gotten another promotion, which had meant another move. Ginny had been told that this move and this rented house would be the last move they would have to make. They could look forward to buying their own house, settle down and live a normal life. That word, "Normal" how she had grown to hate it.
They had moved to this small New England town eight months ago. She had made friends with the girl next door, and had also gone with Paul to a few corporate socials in Hartford. She had tried to mix with the other wives like Paul wanted her to do. But it was hard for her to make conversations with strangers. It seemed to Ginny that she wound up saying the same things over and over again.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock at the front door. Ginny ran down the stairs, opened the door, and there stood Marc, tall, tanned and handsome, grinning at her. It sent shivers through her whole body just to look at him. She cleared her voice, but only a small whisper came out as she asked him to come in. As soon as the door was closed, Marc took her into his arms and without saying another word, carried her back up the stairs. This was the first time that they would be completely alone. Ginny could feel her whole body shaking under his strong grip. He hesitated when they reached the top of the stairs and whispered softly in her ear. Without saying a word, she pointed towards her bedroom.
Marc held onto her tightly as he walked into the bedroom and placed her gently down on the bed, as he kissed her softly on the lips. He then stood up, turned his back to her and walked over to the big chair and began to remove his clothes. Ginny could feel her whole body blushing as she quickly removed her slacks, panties, and top. She tossed them onto the floor, then quickly pulled up the bed sheet and waited for him.
The room was so quiet and warm. Ginny lay on her back, eyes shut, not daring to look at his body as he approached the bed and slipped quietly under the sheets. He slid his body over to where she lay and gently kissed her hair, her eyes, her lips and neck until she thought she would scream with passion. She opened her eyes to find him staring down at her. She felt very self conscious. No words were spoken as he slipped his arms around her neck. Their bodies entwined and became one as they made love. He was a good lover, his movements were slow and deliberating. She felt relaxed and at peace with herself.
When they were finished, she rolled over onto her stomach as he got up and walk over to the chair. She watched him reach into his jacket pocket and pull out a cigarette case and lighter. He stood with his back to her as he lit the cigarette. As he turned around their yes met. He came over to the bed and sat down next to her and offered her his cigarette. She shook her head and told him that she did not smoke. How she wished that he would say something, and finally he did. "I enjoyed being with you Ginny" he said, as he took a drag and inhaled deeply. Then putting it out, he stood up and reached for his clothing.
"That's it?" Ginny thought to herself. "No words of love, no meaning...Just wham, bang, thank you ma'am, it's been fun." Ginny felt hot tears starting to flow from the corners of her eyes and run down her cheeks. A sob escaped her throat. "What a fool I've been, she thought to herself, "I don't matter to him."
Marc turned towards where she lay, a surprised look crossed his handsome face. He was completely dressed now as he knelt down beside her and tried to wipe her face with his handkerchief. Ginny lay there like dead weight staring up at him. Having wiped her tears, he kissed both her cheeks. She tried to draw away from him. But he lifted her face gently with his hands and told her not to take life so seriously, "This had all been only one small, enjoyable moment in time, and time was endless." She sensed that he had chosen those words carefully so as not to hurt her more, and she was grateful for that.
Ginny's mind flashed back to a few weeks ago to his office. She had taken the children there for their check up. He examined both children while Ginny sat there pretending to read a Time magazine. He found both children to be in perfect health, and asked her to step into his office for a moment, as the children were taken by the nurse to the waiting room. He quickly went over his findings and added info that Ginny gave him. When he had finished writing, he looked at her with those penetrating blue eyes and asked how she liked living in New England. they made small talk, and all the while he kept staring at her. She knew that she was beginning to blush. Then without any warning he came around his desk as she stood up automatically. They were facing each other lips inches apart. He told her that he wanted to be with her. He could tell that she was lonely and so young to have all the responsibilities that she did have. "I'm thirty-three" she declared. "Well you certainly could have fooled me." "I'll call you" he said as he opened the office door.
