Camelot's New Epilogue

Updated on January 30, 2014

Camelot's New Epilogue

Once a upon a time,

Arthur stepped aside,

and Lance moved into the castle.

Excalibur came to rest on a new hip,

and Camelot did not end.

Jennie held dinner parties,

and backyard barbeques by the Lake.

Arthur attended,

with his new wife,

and Camelot did not end.

They vacationed together in Avalon,

and all agreed this life,

was as it should be.

Fate had finally gotten it right,

Friendship and love endured

around the cracked, scarred table.

And Camelot never ended.

Clever and Fun read Theater Girl. I look forward to reading more from New Jersey...I have left the Jersey shore, but it's still in my heart and sand in my shoes.

When I first saw the musical Camelot, I remember so wishing it had not ended--your piece took me back there

Good story is endless source of inspiration. It's always nice to see a happy ending. This is one of best parts of writing fiction, isn't it?
