Can You Show Me How To Make Love? (Poetry)

Updated on July 31, 2012
Source

You asked me

To make love to you

And I must admit

I’m not sure how.

I heard it all starts

With a kiss

And a feeling of…….

Wow!

But a fool I am,

In this art

Selfish in my ways

Can you show me

The way

Making love

Is played?

I really want

To know

What it feels like

To make love

To someone

All day

All night.

Two hearts

Beating

As one

Warmth

Like the sun

Please

Can you show me how

To make love?

You asked me

To make love to you

And I must admit

I feel kind of silly

Telling you

I don't know how

I mean....

Really.

I've never

Done it

Before.

Making love

Was always

Something more.

Beyond my abilities

My frivolous

Sensibilities.

I am a fool

When it comes

To this

Can you show me how

To make

Love?

It was an acronym from years ago for our family email address b=Ben (my son) t=Tori (my daughter) and R=Randi (me) Our last name was Bell.

Okay. I was curious because I used to do a radio show on Blog Talk Radio, and I was wondering if you were a fellow host.

Beautiful poem, but is he really such an innocent? Or is it a clever way to get the woman to do all the work. :) Either way, beautiful sensuous and very enticing.

Not innocent, Any fool can figure out how to have sex, but to make love is not something everyone gets to experience.

PHILLYDREAMER...Making Love is an art...you must feel the passion and burning within...no one can show you..you must learn it on your own..anyone can go thru the motions...feel it, breath it,nurture it,absorb it..become as one with the other..like a vine moving up the trellis in the warm sunshine....very romantic and innocently done...you sneaky devil...loved the poem and your words...

If only it came as easy as writing about it.

Good work! If one reads your words right, this is an instruction manual.

I am glad someone finally see's there is a difference between the two. Making love is one the fundamental differences between humans and everything else. There is a connection that is not easily made, but when it happens, in the dark, with the heavy breathing, and the feeling of your chest pumping do hard it reminds you of a train you can't help but know that is far beyond just sex. There is a literal force holding you two together, thank you.

Very nice! I can see this from two different angles: from sincere innocence and honesty, and from a teasing, sensual way.

This is beautiful combination curiosity and sensuality. I know I'm a little late but nice poem.
