Capitalism & Racism.

Once more another youth gun down
In a small Florida town
The chanting sound and the barking dogs
Goes on forever, as
Our ancestors’ spirit rose from every
Corner of the globe: another youth
Fail his geographical test.

No hoodie running attire: keeps moving
Before the sun goes down
Once more another youth gun down

my ancestors made preparation for a tribal son

Bloodshed in the street,
Senseless death around the world
Hoodie terror is on the up rise
Mankind centuries after centuries cannot
Seem to get it right
The lighter you are; Death by far
Seem to be the quota of the day

A death star is closer than many of us might think
It pulls our youth toward the blazing fire
Capitalism or racism,
Geographical location can lead to a violation
Hatred and animosity at any given time
When man blinders block his vision
Every Action Has a Reaction
Blood is blood
The lighter you are
Death by far

another mother's son lay dying.

Only GOD can stop the fire. Brothers killing brothers, not matter how reared by their mothers. My people welcomed others to this land only to die awfully at their hands.

Only God will stop this fire. Don't believe in any man because we all have known their lies.

Never mind what we look like or what we wear. It's in our hearts what matters, not my skin that people stare.

An inspiring piece for a tragic situation.
