Casino Blues
Make just one more turn on the handle, This'll be a winner for sure,
Clickety-click goes the spindle, and for this sickness there is no cure.
Spending my days at the casino, and most of my nights, when I can,
I'll make a fortune one of these days, for it's all just a part of my plan.
Down on my luck at the old House of Blues, but one day I'll hit it big,
If that old machine will get right for me, i'll be dancing my special Jig.
Sold all my household belongings, just to play a game, or maybe two,
If I don't hit that right combination soon, I don't know just what I'll do.
Blues man playing in the background, his harmonica wails out how I feel,
A drumbeat keeps a rhythmic sound, as I watch colors whirl in the reel.
Five red sevens suddenly flash on the window, this taking me by surprise,
I've just made a fortune so longed for; I can buy back my house, I surmise.
I just learned a valuable lesson, I'll have to play on another reel machine,
I don't like the colors on this one, They're simply not my shade of green.
My next fortune will come if I'm patient, I just sold my car for some cash,
Just one more try on the lucky knob, and it'll be no more corned beef hash.
