Christmas Wishes Poem
Christmas wishes bring fun and joy,
Good tidings for every girl and boy,
Snow sparkles glisten as a sleigh rides by,
Hands filled with gifts or a pumpkin pie,
Lead us this day to a cherished event,
Laughter, singing and best wishes sent,
All but the glimmer of a candle remains,
As carolers gather to sing out His name;
“Away in the manger no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus lays down his sweet head”,
With lyrics like these all blessed and true,
Whatever could make us more glorious, too?
The elves and the reindeer are only for cheer,
We know the true reason for Christmas is dear.
Merry Christmas to all may your troubles be few,
May the New Year bring happiness all year thru.
