Bittersweet Poetry: Cloudy Days of May

Updated on June 11, 2013
Source

Happy thoughts
I think of you
On cloudy nights
In May

Raindrops fall
From Heaven
Oh how I wish
You had stayed.

We could have
Danced forever
Under pale
Moonlight

Never having
Reason
To argue
Or fight.

Why did I let
Anger
Get the best
Of me

Now on cloudy
Nights In May
Memories are
All I see.

I love this poem, it's so picturesque.

      Voted up and beautiful, Joyce.
