Cold Contact

Updated on October 17, 2014

Cold Contact

In the distance cold

lies the truth to be told.

I will not whisper , will not hide

I"ll scream and let truth slide.

Weeping willows shedding tears

stand tall in a row

soaked up with past fears

bent precisely in a bow.

Deserted life on blooded streets

time and time again

people hushed with silence hurt

wounds washed in the rain.

Shaky voice on the radio

walking sticks and fears

people walking with a cracked smile

hiding all hearts tears.

Time has come once again

for the truth to come out

Justice fled in split seconds

like air we cant live without.

The wait of silenced hills has come

the shaking trees in the skies

only at night when the birds are sleeping

can you hear all the cries.

Lost souls in the washed up soil

scattered here and there

namless bodies found again

life, the bitch ain't fair.

      Hey Lep!!

I am way too impressed with this one! Sounds like a war-poem, but emotions very clearly expressed!

Phenomenal! I love the ending. The whole poem is ghastly. :)
