Color Makes all the Difference (a poem of inspiration)
The rich, the subtle, all the joyful, the sublime, and so bright,
an explosion of colors, in the daytime and by an evening's light.
Such a marvelous gift placed upon this lush and greening Earth,
Bathed in blues by the ocean's hues, in waves of such mirth.
The sounds are so rare, so sweet, and with our ears are heard,
The calls in the majestic wilderness, as the fond chirps of a bird.
Such beauty to be revealed by our own eyes, as we all can see,
A wonderful sense, our's to be endowed, and after all, is so free.
With each morning's dawning sun and the evening's setting display,
A grand beginning, a fantastic ending, to our every precious day.
Under brightening azure skies and broadening carpets of green,
Spreading across the countryside, in freshest airs, so clean.
Tall brown trunk trees line the hillsides, across the glens and dale,
Their broad leaves, dark greenery, as a morning mist raises its veil.
Colorful lakes, the ponds, all spread about, golden reeds do accent,
As gorgeous plumed birds fly, nighttime comes, as if heaven sent.
Now our eyes must rest, for in our dreams, fine colors soon appear,
The day before, in visions grand, held forever there, and all so clear.
Upon a canvas, rainbows all spread, to explode, with its story to tell,
A wondrous gift that we all do share, so does cast its magic spell.
