Colorado is Burning

Updated on June 29, 2012

Pray For Colorado Springs

The land is Dry,

the mountains are brown

Colorado is burning,

no water to be found

The weather has changed,

where is our rain

now we are sad,

nothing but pain

Many homes are gone,

burned to the ground

fire is all around

thats what we have found

Everyday we pray

Oh Lord, bring the rain

relieve our misery

please stop our pain

Colorado is Burning

when will this madness stop ?

we need the clouds to open up

with so much water, we'll need a mop

A very interesting poem it's a coincidence that I have just wrote a poem about too much rain. We have just had a months worth of rain in 24 hours I think the worlds weather system has gone crazy.
