Say anything and he is quick to reply.
Responses that cut deep, no other as sly.

Sometimes he is funny other times mean.
Let him go too far and he becomes obscene.

Overstays his welcome because he annoys.
With your most sensitive emotions he always toys.

Understands what happens but only too late
Friendless and alone is his only fate

Or can he change his insatiable ways?
Has to prove himself new over the next few days.

Obnoxious it seems but is it a front?
Needing acceptance he continues the hunt.

I wish we can say he will be met with success
But this journey isn’t over I must confess.
