Come! Let me Bathe in The Silhouette of Your Splendour. A Loving Dedication to rdsparrowriter.

Deep within the unfolding petals of Your sweetness,

There’s a cantata of joyful symphonies,

Echoing in my Being. Cute Majesty!

The sweet zither, with which You enchant this burning flame,

Pulls me like a precious magnet, ever closer,

To an unfathomable realm of grandeur.

Here in this inner enclave,

Built by the sacrifice of Your snow-white Gratitude,

I hear only the cadences of myriad nightingales;

Become enveloped, in a stream of ceaseless Delight.

Beloved, right now this sweet Silence,

Is too glorious for eloquent words.

I place my Soul’s longing, on Your resplendent lustre --

A quintessential Ray – the most perfect embodiment,

Of Your matchless charm.

Come! Let me bathe in the silhouette of Your splendour,

My Heart feasting hungrily, on Thy shimmering Light. –Manatita.

Absorbed in the glistening beauty of this fiery flame, I know neither my name, nor whence I came.

Audrey, Seasonal Greetings if it's not too late. Thank you so much!

Swalia, yes, yes ...you noticed? (smile) I think they enhance the meaning and as such the power of the words. Thank you so much!

Chitrangada, Seasonal Greetings! Hope that all's good so far. Much Love to you and family. -Manatita

I find a lot of your work to be a mantra of some sorts, a repetitive wave of light through words. They have a relaxing quality.

Beautiful poetry mani (gem). (Shorted to make it more indianized).

Every word glistens like a gem,

      Polished by your golden brain.

      You have tied them,

Like they were born to be entwined.

Yes, Bill, she's like a child. So sweet! Thanks for the compliment Bro.

Eric, this is such a sweet sentiment! I am a servant; have been for many years. I started here six years ago as a writer using prose. I found that it is easier to serve in and through a shorter medium, but with the same awakening or enlightening ideas.

My deep Gratitude for your loving and kind words. My words are very prayerful mantras, yes. It is your own innate wisdom that noticed.

Hari, chuckle, chuckle ...the words were born to inspire and grow in the Hearts of all. I like your offering though. As to the name, it is a Sanskrit name given to me my my Guruji Sri Chinmoy in 1989. I have sat at His feet for 33 years.

Sanskrit is the root language; it is the language of the Rishis and Seers of yore. Sri Chinmoy teaches that only God-men can give spiritual names with certainty, as they reflect the propensity of the Soul. The God-man sees the Soul and knows its propensity.

Close ones and advanced teachers can have pretty good guesses, as some of our qualities become manifest after a while. But the Spiritual Master sees the Soul and knows what it needs for its progress.

In my case, the name 'manas' is 'mind' and 'tita' is 'beyond.' So my name means 'Beyond The Mind; in The Heart of Our Lord Beloved Supreme.' Basically, I am more like the child: sweet, spontaneous, magnanimous and love unification and oneness.

The mind is the opposite: analysis, separation, isolation, thinking and chopping things up; egoistic ...

I note your very kind and loving words, as always, and I truly appreciate same. Hari Om!
