Come Sit By Me A While : A Heavy Heart Can Still Sing !!!

Updated on March 14, 2013

It is so nice to see you all this morning .

This is a visit of heartfelt honesty today in the midst of life's cruelty and sadness.

Last week as many of you will know ,one sweet angel so close to my heart passed over ; for the purpose of HubPages I named her Jasmin.

An angel who even through her disabilities found her way into so many people's hearts;an angel who is now at peace.

Then on Monday I had the tragic news that a very dear friend of mine had also passed over !!!

I still cannot believe that such a wonderfully kind ,bright and bubbly person could not face another day.

Why oh why oh why ??

I had made a decision to give publishing on here a rest for a week or so ; as I felt very tired!!

However this morning as I was drinking my very first cuppa I felt a fresh strength flowing through me and knew in that instant that I would not stop sharing my hubs!!

By my side in the kitchen I have a picture of my own sweet angel Erin and I could almost feel her telling me that this was the right way to cope !!

This is what my life is all about ; guiding others through my own hard times ;leading others onwards and upwards!!

Again I stress that this is what I must do and I am not saying that we should all cope like this.

Oh no we all cope in a way that feels right for us !!!

As well as sharing with you all, this is what keeps me on my own path of healing also.

Already I am glad that I invited you all here today ;on this bright and sunny morning.

Along with my poems I share with you some of the beautiful haunts around Wales which I have on so many occasions found healing and so very inspiring.

Rictameter : Singing.

At times so sad

At times so unclear

Just sing that tune that feels so right

Allow it to fill your heart and your soul

Each tone so right and oh so blessed

A flowing so soothing

Filling your heart

Acrostic : Songs Of Hope.

Songs of hope

Out of grief comes beauty

Near to our hearts we flow

Growing in hope and warmth

Sadness and beauty entwined..

Oh how the world can be cruel

Find your solace in each lyric.

Helping to heal;helping to cope

Oh my heart forever will care

Pouring each momentum into each tomorrow

Eternally I shall sing for you.

Haiku : Each Ballad.

Each ballad each tune

Entwine with sweet memories

To love and to bless.

Rhyme : When Days Are dark.

When days are dark

And your spirit low;

Find that right song

To show you where to go

Your emotions just move

With one massive leap;

From your heart create

A tune yours to keep.

Create your own words

As you move along;

Solace you will then find

In the heart of your song.

The chorus so true

Your tune so fitting;

Each verse oh so right

A creation so lifting.

Keep sweet memories

In your song's heart;

So safe they will be

Never ever to part.

Thank you all so much for stopping by and my empathy I share with one and all.

Take it easy and allow that song to form in your heart;let us take a moment to remember loved ones !!

Find solace in the knowledge that they are now at peace and suffer no longer.

      Eddy, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear friends. At least they are now at peace, but we are left behind and miss their friendly smiles. So beautifully expressed in your poems.

      You've done it again beautifully sis. Eddy your poetic words here make a wonderful tribute for your loved ones who have passed on. I know they are just smiling from above and happy that you love them. Do as I do - on a starry night go out and look at the stars, think of those you love the brightest and most twinkling of stars will be their smiles from above. Hugs and passing this on.

      Hi Eddy... with great sadness I read your words today. We never understand the why's in life or the reasons but we will someday. Like you it has been a hard year for me. I suffered the loss of four friends. Two who were very close and yet we find the strength to carry on. Maybe it is our calling to be strong and help others. Your words are a reminder of the need to love to the fullest each day as we just never know.

      Hugs and Blessing my friend...

      You are so right. Many of us came here with heavy hearts and loses in our lives and writing is the best medicine for it. It is a free therapy of sorts. It then becomes so many things, maybe even things we don;t even realize. Thank you for sharing your mountains as you let us share with you. ^ as always

      Eddy, I am so sorry for your losses. What a terrible feeling to lose someone. Then to lose another so instantly I think is the toughest to cope with. Thank you for sharing your pain and beauty with us this morning. Many blessings my friend. I continue to pray for you.

      Thank you so much carol and yes your words are so true ; others don't think as we do and sadness is indeed a part of our lives.

      You have become a great friend carol and the thought that I am surrounded by so many friends just like you is so comforting.

      Thank you again my dear friend and enjoy your day.

      Lots of love

      Oh Sannel thank you so very much and today I need to be honest ; for myself and also for others.

      My friend's passing has knocked me and I am not going to pretend otherwise. She was so vibrant and so alive ; the youngsters she worked with worshipped her and it was so easy to see why.

      She will be remembered with great love by all who knew her.

      It is with tears I created this today but I know that I will cope and my main thoughts are her family!!

      Your words mean so much my dear friend and eternally appreciated.

      Lots of love and hugs to you today.

      First to comment on your beauteous photos...And sadness is part of life. Things in life do not go as planned and many people do not think as we do leaving us feeling badly. Losing friends and family is something everyone faces, not making it any easier. I am glad you got your mental strength back to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
