Complication

Updated on September 1, 2011

Gosh I just really don’t know how to start
Writing what is really in my heart

Pencil shaking as I write
Complication…distress….

Today pain has struck me like being swept off my feet
From a bullet that punched a big hole in my heart

Lightning flashes in my mind
Melting my brain as it desire

Bloody tear shed from my eyes
My body dried from exhausting heat

My heart is frozen and turn to coal
Too much stress my heart can hold

My bone is deteriorating one piece at a time
Walking like a boneless child

Today I felt like lost in a storm
With know one around….

Lonely…

Hi victoria, thank you! I reread what I wrote and had a good laugh at it because most of the line I messed up. But it's fun writing along with Daven. Thank you!

Amazing to watch the back and forth between chan and daven....Very cool, as is the original poem by chanroth. Trying to write, wanting to write, but unable to get past the pain. Great descriptions, chan!

      time that slips through hourglasses

slowly grain by grain it passes

      in silent pictures wisdom teaches

while the heart again, it reaches

for the sunny bright of day

the warmth of kindness here to stay

      sadness ebbed by rivers ire

      carried by the summers fire

      gentle moon in sky above

sing the song of forgotten love

speak the rhythmic chant of thee

      beating heart and weakened knee

shards of broken heart are mending

from the loss that caused the rending

      tattered, torn and set asunder

      strengthened now against the thunder

let the rain come pouring down

      water soaked into the ground

      brings the flowers softly blooming

winter cracks and spring is looming

      broken heart in sheltered hand

wakens as the grains of sand

      pass through the hourglass

      Distraught, distress

      Now has lingered

To the deepest so hard to reach

The light of days has come to view

      And kiss all pain away

The soul that scorn has roam before in heart

By ill will which mind taught

But wisdom and faith from a person grace

Has wipe the child tears away

Embrace of words and lighten heart

      Courage and hope

      Brought loved with strength

      To reach far beyond horizon

      Many thanks untold

      The world cant hold

      Thus words cannot express all

      Though,pure love I shall send

      With warm hugs and prayer

And be thy angel in heart!

      echos of a shattered dream

      frozen

      like a silent scream

bring the clouds and the rain

      wash away the clinging pain

as lightening flashed through the night

and tears fall for that which might...

      have been a grieving heart.

      rendered now as pieces part

the bitter sweet and acrid tart

of knowing in thy minds eye

all the reasons how and why.

      creeps the darkness over thee

in bits of thoughts that now are free

to roam thy mind thy heart thy soul

blackened hard as is the coal

of a fire that once burned bright

shattered by the loss of light.

let the darkness come to thee

crashing down til thy can't see

for through the darkest part of night

comes the dawning of first light.

      accolades of thanks, I gather

but I think my heart would rather

see the smile upon thy face

so long ascent... out of place

the light behind your eyes a blazing

      like grace... gentle but amazing

Oh frozen child in distraught pain

      remember that with love again

it too, shall rise like love long lost

and replace thy pain without a cost

for today it seems so far away

you have all of us here...

      to help you pray....
