Concrete Love~ A Poem
Can love be more than what we feel
Something seen and not surreal?
Could it be as warm as sun gives light
Sinking down with colors so bright?
Or waft the aroma of blooming rose
To travel in whiffs into our nose?
Can it transform hearts into a bliss
With just one gentle perfect kiss?
It has the power to be received
From random kindness to one in need.
Surround us with familiar sounds
To make us laugh as would a clown.
From family and friends within our ears
Easing life to dry the tears.
Perhaps open a mother's heart wide
With arms that wrap her deep inside.
Shift her thoughts and change her life
As a committed and faithful wife.
Love is where we live our trust
That we're created from earth's dust.
Love does prove its not abstract
It tastes and sounds and feels exact.
Love is for certain all around
Like beauty breaking solid ground
It Can be seen, It Can be found.
