Confused? Thought So

Updated on May 31, 2013

On a dark and gloomy day, as the sun did shine brite,

That sunrise was so beautiful and it would soon be night.

A dog began to bark as it left it's treetop nest.

A man did run in circles to catch up on his rest.

While swinging on a swing, a boy slid down the sliding board.

He was standing all alone in an ever growing horde.

With a smile from ear to ear, she frowned in pure disgust.

The untarnished shining metal was covered in flaking rust.

Looking at the blank page, each word she understood.

They were sitting on a plastic chair made of the finest wood.

Staring at the stranger that they knew so well.

Free to go where he wanted, locked up in his cell.
