Court Jester
Court Jester
Here comes the court Jester,
On his white horse,
Holding out his hand,
For none but me.
As he wishes I do,
Here where the princess -
Is but a servant.
I climbed his rope ,
And fell to my end,
As his hidden hand,
Became known to me -
With his house of a thousand gems.
I made my bed,
I sleep in it;
Here where Jesters are known,
And none can penetrate as one-
Once did.
I take my sword into battle,
My twisted braids -
My greatest weapon;
I let them down,
He does but climb.
He enters my card board castle,
With his Jestered crown.
I take his head piece,
Leaving him to his solitude,
In his own creation,
Where I was made.
Here I leave him to cry,
His cry -
Which no one will hear.
For he is under my thumb,
And not one will have the strength to face me;
For demonic eyes have nothing on me.
Where I come from,
The darkness has no name,
But I it’s Queen,
Who causes it to be.
I who am not here,
To stop you in your tracks as Medusa does.
I am here to wake you;
Bring you to life,
Not freeze you-
With one glance.
I am a vixen,
With wings of gold,
And eyes of ivory.
I take what I am,
And bring what you are not,
I mold you into what you shall be.
Here the kraken comes -
At my bidding,
Where your ship shall fall.
Not one person will be moved -
By a single tear,
Or even a drop of blood -
For you are my prisoner,
And none shall interfere,
With your demise;
When here you fall at your own bidding.
