Creeper Crawler

Updated on December 13, 2009

Creepy Crawley

Creeping crawling everywhere

Low ... across the floor

I can peak in the window

And a crack between the door

What is the creeping crawling?

My fear I just can’t shake

Mom was working in her garden

Did she let in a snake?

I saw something just crawl by!

My eyes I open wider

It’s bigger than a beard box

Much bigger than a spider!

It’s too big to be a snail

Or a cat lurking about

So I opened up the front door

To yell .... "You just get OUT!"

And much to my amazement

Guess what I did see ...

My little baby sister

Came crawling straight to me!

We have a one year old grandson, your poem is very good and made me think of him, he isn't walking yet but can really scoot around, it won't be long now and he will be brave enough to take his first step. Thanks you for sharing this.
