Adaeze is not different from any other ordinary girl struggling to make ends meet, she holds a 2nd class honor in Business Administration from a prestigious University but after graduating from the University and gaining employment became a hit and run driver, she fell onto what she knows best.

As a child she used to watch her mother play with people's hair and by the time she became an adolescent, she mastered the craft so as life became unimaginable she got herself a spot and within a short time, 'Ada's Trends' became a household name. She was the best and outshined all her competitors.

One thing which women and girls don't play with is their hair so Adaeze employed two workers because the amount of customers she attended to doubled. She was loved by everyone that came in contact with her because she was down to earth, she was friendly and focused in life and Among her admirers was Emeka.

Emeka's elder sister was Adaeze's number one customer and she talked about her alot perhaps that was why Emeka became interested in her but the gap between them was much. Emeka is an IT Engineer and he became a CEO at a very young age, he was rich so dating a girl who owns a wooden braiding shop is out of the question. However, Adaeze in the other hand wasn't ready for a boyfriend and even if she would have one, not Emeka's type.

Two people with two different life plans can't connect Adaeze told Emeka and it's true because for obvious reasons he can't park his SUV in front of her wooden shop, she doesn't dress like the girls he would date, she doesn't come from a wealthy home so what does he want from her if not to hit and run?

One thing about men is that most of them don't give up easily especially when their heart is set on something and Emeka is the kind of man that gets what he wants. Infact, he has never failed to grab whatever he set his heart on perhaps that was why he was able to grow his company from small to where he now find himself.

He was actually dating Carol who works in an oil servicing firm with a five zero monthly salary before he met Adaeze thanks to Adaeze's promoter who doesn't let anyone rest. Emeka was with her many times while she discussed with her friends both the ones outside the country about the pretty girl that braids her hair but what actually caught his instincts was her constant expression that the young chick is a wife material.

Adaeze have had fair share of heartbreak; first was in the hands of the first guy in her life who traveled out of the country then blanked her out then again in the hands of Francis, who dated her for three years but dumbed her to marry a family arranged wife to guard his father's political career so she understood the antics and it was all over Emeka. But she however honored his invitation for a date after months of refusal.

Adaeze couldn't resist him as he kept staring straight into her eyes and you know one thing; it's always in the eyes. Adaeze doesn't know what to do but Emeka gave her an idea.

She placed her right hand on her cheek with smiles all over her face then looked at Emeka.

The most handsome Angel was Lucifer and he had a unique voice and was obviously a commander among the host of Angels but he was cast down the moment pride took over him and he rebelled against the greatest. Casting him down to planet Earth became a big headache for mankind because he started manipulating people and by doing so, he won lots of luitenants and his arch luitenant is man.

Man can be highly deceptive yet cover himself under the guise of I love you, he will smooth talk you and burst your brain. Emeka actually got himself right into Adaeze's mind simply with words, she trusted him and gave him her heart because he made his intentions very clear; I want to marry you. One of the things that strikes a woman is the word I want to marry you. No woman plays with a man that promises such even when it's crystal clear that the man isn't ready right away but I will marry you is like an insurance policy.

He always invited Adaeze to his house and each time she goes to his house, she made sure that she left a feminine touch in the house, a proof of what Chika saw in her because she was the one that labelled her a wife material and she proved it with her culinary skill. Though Emeka was a big fan of the dry cleaner but she questioned the eseence of the washing machine in his house.

She washed his cloths, ironed them better than the professional dry cleaners and she also cooked for him. It's true that humans are not the same but most times men are generalised as the same which is not fair because men will always be men but men don't think alike. Some are just out for fun while some are on serious businesses so it depends on which category of men you luckily or unluckily find yourself attached to perhaps that is why Adaeze believed so much in Emeka.

One thing about Emeka that trapped Adaeze was that he was kind and without being told, she understood from the series of phone calls he made in her presence that he was responsible for a lot of people, he was training people in school and was catering for families. She suggested that he set up a foundation and he agreed but on the condition that she would be the overseer. You see, one thing he always gave her was intimacy and that is what women wants.

He looked at her as they were discussing and said to her...

One thing about life is that most times people misjudge other people. Though nothing would stop anything that is meant to be but imagine if Adaeze had rejected the offer Emeka gave her, imagine if she had insisted on No. You see, life has a way of dealing with us. Imagine if she had gotten employment after school, imagine if she hadn't learned hair braiding. Just imagine what her life would have been. Imagine what a simple yes to a noble man could do.

He told her not to love him but to do him just one favor; to trust him and that was exactly what Adaeze did because she believed in him on the condition that they won't have sexual intercourse until they are married but as much as they both fell deeply in love with each other as time passed and Adaeze couldn't stand with her condition anymore, Emeka refused to go against his promise instead he spoilt her with intimacy.

He had always been a goal getter so when he realised that Adaeze had passion in what she does, he decided to support her instead so instead of helping her to secure employment which she detested, he invested money in her business and just like he told her to change her business name, Trendy braids came to life. Trendy braids became talk of the town and had celebrities trooping in and out of the salon.

When a man loves a woman, he sets his heart on her, he prays for her more than he prays for himself and one thing he wants is for her to become independent so he supports her in anyway he deemed fit. Lavishing money on a girlfriend is quite different from investing money in her life so don't get it twisted because it takes a noble man to cherish a woman's little business and invest to see it grow.
