Dance for me, sweet maid
Your steps entrancing
Your arms open wide as you spin through my glade
The smile that curls your lips bewitching
Dance for me, before your illusion fades
Like the flowers in your hair
Your sparkling eyes a green jade
Carefree, unknowing of my stare
Dance for me, as my prison you invade
Your laughter sweetness rare
Watching you I am monster unmade
Caught by your dance, held strong in your snare
Dance for me, oh maiden fair
As you twirl and spin
Your very essence filling my air
The sun kissing your glowing skin
Dance for me, and light my despair
Your soul full of light untouched by sin
As you unknowingly beauty share
Reminding me of things gone and been
So dance for me, sweet maid
You leave my senses awake and reeling
As your merry steps leave my glade
Seared always in my mind, but not mine for the taking
