Dancing All Through The Night --What my Beautiful Girl Wanted at Last

Updated on September 1, 2014

Play our song...Maestro!!

Source

COME JOIN ME ON THE DANCE FLOOR!

.

Come on baby... join me on the dance floor

These shifting dim lights are on and off!

we take our turns and shake our hips

you look to the right, i look to the left

holding hands look into each other eyes

follow me like a naughty girl

fantasy world for the two of us

never say never, never say you can't

There you go, the beat took hold of us

moving shoulders, arms..and such..!

lift those hands way..way up!

that was enough for the warm up

From Charleston to twist, it was a must

mambo cha-cha-cha... is this way too much?

reggae, hip hop blues, what else do we have?

disco, salsa, merengue, this is getting out of hand!

moving, sweating and shaking away those fears

sensuality and rhytms wiping away sad tears

yeah baby, get close and don't walk away

feel that hip rocking my desires with no name

piece of cake, this is not casual

not time to makes mistakes....

There we go one more time, sweet thang

walking that long tango along the night

follow my steps and feel my heart close to yours

enough of a working day that always sucks!

you know what i mean darling

this song was waiting for us

moving in circles like swans, ready to jump

feeling free, headeaches about to leave us alone

giving me the reason to dedicate this song

playing over and over until this poem is done

at least you followed us to the end

so you think we are done?

nope, repeat this piece one more time

enjoyed it so much, that I WILL play it all over again

don't make the mistake to call us in vain

we know, we have that swing that exudes through our veins

glad you felt this feeling, as much as we did

play it again for the sixth time and see if this was insane!

was wonderful to create these words

that followed us with this song

what? my baby is sitting down

I think she is winking her eyes

oops! she meant business...have to say goodbye!!

thank you fellow friends

time to make the "doughnuts"

and have it at the end..!

    Cute comment Raciniwa,

You let it out on your recent statement. We all here, besides writing, have a solid foundation and friendship gets a strong bond. Some more some less.. But is like a small world, and HP is no exception. Glad to hear from you again!

I loved to dance, spent many an hour in the arms of a beautiful woman, swinging to the Tango, disco, waltz, cha cha cha and so many more and of course Chubby's The Twist. Now that's dating me for sure. LoL..Yup dancing lifts the spirits and is all round great exercise to.

My mother taught me early to enjoy music and dancing, she use to grab me by the hand and swing me around the kitchen, our make believe dance floor. Those were the days. Loved them all. Rated up and dancing...LoL couldn't find the dance button though.

Fun poem that gets me in the mood to dance. I remember this song by Rick Astley when I was in grade seven.
