Dark Poetry--Lost Soul

Updated on July 14, 2012

Intro

Dark poem, my rendition of a Lost Soul's final moments. This poem took 30 mins.

I hope that you enjoy this poem and Thank-you for taking the time to read this.

Lost Soul

Dark shadows distanced bliss,

Armageddon’s solemn kiss.

Darkness against the dancing light,

Shimmering smugly hoping none will fight.

Creeping through the deafened mind,

Wishing silently the light shunt blind.

Engulfing crevices of the soul,

Burrowing deeply in the black heart’s role.

Melodies of sorrow plague the land,

Time now gone through the fallen sand.

Crying desperately for more time,

As the heart stops beating its usual rhyme.

Deepened depression seeping in,

The lost soul’s journey now “el fin.”
