Dawn Of My Delight (poem)

Updated on November 19, 2012

Oh curse the sun the weariness of day

These constant sources of eternity

Alas there is no light left there for me

Your precious flowers fill me with dismay

-

To sleep in day brings dreams of what will be

The Joys when sun has kindly gone away

It’s then again my heart is free to stray

It’s then again your flowers’ Joy I’ll see

-

Yet while you’re here the pain I feel is clear

As through our day we both now slowly stroll

Until your ebb brings dawn to my delight

-

There in the moonlight once more she’ll appear

My love my life my happiness my soul

And we will build forever of this night

Love, love, love how it ends, so lovely . . . his love, his life, his happiness, and his soul and will build forever on this night . . . and then you went and added this lovely Elvis video and song "Angel" . . . oh, wow, I just noticed it was from 1962! This is so amazing you have found this particular song from 1962 ---lots of "Angels" around lately, so very lovely.

Voted Way up to the Angels

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper
