AKA net demon

Dear Net Demons,

You’re driving me netting crazy

Yeah, me and the net

Have been going at it

Me thinking I am some sort of

Net tech

The net demon

Flashing me

With its

“net not working”

Signs

Forcing me

To right click its ass

Only to have its

“flag”

Right back

In my

Computer space

My screen

My white page

Forcing me to scribble

At net to the net power

In order to fill in the lines

Write the rights on the wall

What is it with me and subtext?

Am I trapped in the small print

Underneath some hot headline

Or am I just wanted in the classifieds?

Yes. Wanted. Desired. Loved.

Bansky’s beating, breathing blossom

Suddenly appearing in the middle of the night

Blending in as if always been there

An illusion of the graphic kind

Oh, net demon!

You thought I had forgotten?

Hey! We are on my turf:

The White Page

I shall enjoy this moment

Without your flag flogging me

Shutting me down

Logging me in log after log after log-in

Very funny net demon

I know if I want hub…

I must hub in

Yours Truly,

Net Tech

      RQ,

Your comments are as poetic and fun as your poetry. Hoping to be back on HP soon. Have been undergoing medical treatments which has caused me to put everything else on the backburner.

      Audrey,

So nice to see you. Yes. When the computer and the internet are being contrary, it is frustrating. Hope you are well.

      Best to you both,

      Kim

Such an entertaining write about what is I am sure, a frustrating situation!

Lol! From your mouth to Bill Gates's ears.

Looks like one needs a virtual, mediaeval Siegfried to free said damsel from the electronic junk ogre.

Well Kim, as fellow poets we must take advantage of poetic license to bestow praises upon each other... hehehehe ;)

      FAA,

I love how you described it: "damsel in captivity from this net demon."

Thanks for enjoying and please consider me a new fan of yours as well.

I am truly enjoying your hubs.

      GRL,

Believe me, I would prefer for my PC's soft and hard ware behaved. It is so frustrating. What is funny is that I would think me smart enough to fix it. SMiles.

      Ladies, thanks for stopping by,

      Kim

Tech is a word which often scares me and I am in awe of it. I prefer thing to be that my PC behaves itself, works everyday and does what I want it to do with no tech involved

Hahaha as a former damsel in captivity from this net demon I must say this was so much fun to read. Truly enjoyed this. You have a new fan.

      word55,

Thanks so much for the vote. When the net demons and I are having our battles, I am much more than feisty. Smiles.

      torrilynn,

So nice to see you. So happy to make you smile. I appreciate the vote.

      thelyricwriter,

I have missed you! Thank you for your kind words and votes. I, too have been quite busy. My youngest graduated from Appalachian State this weekend so lots of activities kept me really busy.

      Suzette,

I am reserving my LOL when I find out that the net demon is not so demonic. It really has been frustrating. I am having to sign in every time I leave a comment; thus, it is taking me so much longer to keep up with my friends on HP.

All anti-frustration vibes are very much appreciated,

      Kim

LOL! This poem is great, Kim! I enjoyed reading and relating to this poem. I think we all have net issues and it is frustrating. Just when we have a great idea or inspiration, then the net crashes, and we are stymied. Your response is wonderful.

Kim, voted up and all across. This was netting brilliant my dear! No question about it, pure genius. My apology for the late visit, terribly busy with my SEO/SMM business. I miss this, wish I had the time again, so I can relate. Heard about your family from your HOTD, so sorry to hear about that. Awesome!!!

      Great one.

The net can really seem a burden sometimes. I know how you feel.

Hi Kim... great post and I think we have all been there, my excuse was unless I can see how it operates, well the result was drastic. I built several, fried many, made boat anchors of some... The last PC I built is a powerhouse, has several fans just to keep it cool when I turn the thing on. I switched over to Mac several years ago, never took one apart, Apple does all the hard stuff, seamless running and has never failed me... well written and certainly made me smile...

      Hugs from Alberta

      Bill,

When I finished writing this piece, I laughed and felt some catharsis.

      I am just so stubborn.

I can remember a time when I was afraid to push a button for fear of messing something up...but in my effort to find the demon and deposit it into a spam bucket, I have pushed lots of buttons.

The good news is that my son's friend IS a TRUE NET TECH and has promised to come by and do his tech thing.

      I will be taking notes.

      Smiles,

      Kim

      Jamie,

Net tech is my euphemism for net dummy.

Hopefully, anyone with computer/internet issues can relate.

      Smiles,

Fun and entertaining, I am not a net tech, more like a net dummy. (But I try) Jamie
