Death of a Red Rose– the poem

Updated on September 21, 2012
Source

A few fresh fragrances airy now

With delicate dangle around the throat,

To grasp the life out of petals row

Her eyes were nomadic breeze to float.

A new flower was she to the garden

But the crash competition to old brigade,

The forlorn soul from inner warden

Own face became the enemy remade.

A red rose she was to dazzle bright

In midnight garden of Hiroshima misty,

For deep emerald negative plight

to the budding amusement pure feisty.

Source

Thorny casket to hold the beauty

Serenity amongst the world so harsh,

In the name of love to some lady

A man was closely scanning the search.

He got stunned with mouth agape

To see the dazzling bud of beauty queen,

The red rose made his breath gone

For instant his lady love was forgotten.

Zeroing on the exclusive serenity

The man plucked it from the bed emerald,

He did not notice the hand bloody

He was enchanted to hold beauty in hand.

Source

The queen cried in confusion aghast

Dew drops he thought and brushed aside,

The old brigade was happy at last

To won the battle in the bud to future ride.

He rode to his lady love in pride

To present the most beautiful red queen,

She was but ablaze with spite

For she knew she is no compare to win.

She discarded him with apathy

Shocked our man and he threw the rose,

False ego and issue superiority

Razed another incomplete divine prose.

Source

She was only born to die

It’s tragic to feel the ignorance around,

The lady love without love

In heart to praise His creation abound.

The red rose with eternal beauty

To invite death untimely to dry out on dust,

The dried petals were got murky

To get infused in the earth with Him fast.

Where from the divinity begin

It gone to praise the infinity again!!!!

Hi, dghbrh . . .Wonderful poem. Great methaphors. Spell-binding. Voted UP and all across. I dabble some in abstract/prose poetry so you might want to check out "losing her" "the shattering" "dangerous sheep" and a few more. Keep the great work coming. I love it.

Simply beautiful with so much for us to think about...that beauty doesn't last...crushed by time....how we are sometimes surprised by the fleeting of beauty with time....very nice. Voted up and interesting.

Thank you@shining ........for your visit and much insightful comment here. Beauty of red rose is not permanent and heart aches as it blooms only to die out.

Unique use of symbolism with so many meanings for each.

No beauty such as the red rose and no heartache can match as well.
