Death poetry by Ashley Pentycofe

Updated on August 3, 2012

Death is darkness

Not having to worry

Not about the past, future or the present

You just lay there not thinking

Not moving

Just lay there like a log

Neither happy thoughts nor sad thoughts

Just empty

Just laying in the darkness

Neither seeing nor hearing

You’re just nothing at all.

Ashley Pentycofe
