Diamonds and Roses

Diamonds and Roses
Hi, I wrote this poem years ago in the hopes of winning a young girl's, heart. Naturally, when I got my first book of poetry, Inner Dreams and Aspirations, pulished, I incuded this one. At one time, a picture with diamond-studded-roses was carefully added to the top of the poem, printed off and given to its intended receiver. Since then, I have lost the image but the poem will forever remain in print...and now on Hubpages.
Dear, say unto me that you will be my, diamonds and roses
Snuggle closely to me and kiss me like, the Eskimo’s rub noses
Embrace me with your, tentative arms and hold me in the day
Come, take an adventure with me where Lover’s, run and play
Throw away your inhibitions and put away your worry and doubt
Dare not to hold back but release your inner lover; let it out
Share with me, your kisses and dare to slowly find pleasure
Where my hands shall dance upon your skin in slowest measure
Lie down, close your eyes, and feel every gentle touch
Give yourself over to absolute pleasure or do I ask too much?
Can you meet the challenge and relax yourself but for a while
Let me take care of your needs and leave you with a smile
My lips long to adorn your neck with a simple gentle kiss
Come, gather yourself into my arms and fulfill my every wish
Allow my hands to touch you slowly as I rub them on your skin
Touch my shoulders and feel my kisses given from end to end
Push not upon my head or shoulders for we dare not rush
For this is meaningful love making not given over to lust
Lust is for one night stands and never to speak no more
No, this is making love to the one I shall love forever more
Press your body close to mine and feel me close to you
Knowing that this is something that I have really longed to do
Bring my dreams of you to life and share your dreams with me
Tell me what brings out the excitement like waves on the sea
Tell me…tell me what makes you happy and what makes you dream
Share the secrets of what it takes to make you really scream
I want to know everything that would fulfill your very heart
This is my dream of you that I have held from the very start
Thank you, for taking some time and reading my poetry. Have a great day!
