Poem-Different Feelings

How can you sit here and tell me

you want to hold my hand

when your eyes can't see what mine see

and you could never understand.

How can you say you want to share with me

when you just don't know how i feel

and how could you ever care for me

if the feelings you have are not real

I want to build a kingdom

where i can just be me

I want so much for freedom

more than you could ever give me

How can you say you love me

when you hardly know my name

your mind can't think how mine does

and i just don't feel the same.
