A Software Developer, who loves to design eCards and write poetry in her free time. It's wonderful to help others express their feelings.

Attire's Important Element

In the movie 'P.S.: I love you', shoes play a very important role. They are the hidden dream of the main character Holly and she is not herself aware of the intensity of her passion for footwear.

Well the intensity might vary, but comfortable footwear is absolutely vital with the amount of gravel in our paths. I found some great quotes which I'm sharing, all of them are talking about the important entities responsible to change the color of your feet.

High heels might look great, but ouch! Check that they don't hurt your back.

A shoe that is too large is apt to trip one, and when too small, to pinch the feet. So it is with those whose fortune does not suit them.

— Horace

If you have shoes, You are fortunate

Good fortune is like a treasure. And establishing an analogy with shoes to show the flash of this treasure is indicative of the importance of good comfortable shoes. Footwear is one of those things which you won't want to risk for a present, in case it does not fit or even worse, if it pinches the feet, the receiver of the unfortunate gift will be far from feeling grateful.

A work-room should be like an old shoe; no matter how shabby, it's better than a new one.

— Willa Cather

Comfortable shoes

This one is very well said by Willa Cather, and once again it's reflecting the amount of importance which people generally give to comfortable footwear. You might find a lot of articles suggesting you to be careful while making a risky purchase of new footwear. It is highly recommended to try your new shoes and take a few steps to ensure that shoes are made for you and only you.

I like Cinderella, I really do. She has a good work ethic. I appreciate a good, hard-working gal. And she likes shoes. The fairy tale is all about the shoe at the end, and I'm a big shoe girl.

— Amy Adams

Cinderella's Perfect fitting Shoe

I don't think any of us can manage to forget the magical tale of Cinderella. Those who are forgetful are also not in danger zone, after all so many movies which are remakes, sorry, inspired from the good old Cinderella story. The story could not have made if there did not exist this perfectly fit shoe of Cinderella which could not be stretched to fit her stepsisters huge feet, in fact it could not be worn by anyone in the whole country.

Well if you are fortunate you would not have such a unique size - it will become rather difficult quest when you are out for shoe shopping.

If the shoe fits, it's too expensive.

— Adrienne Gusoff

Are your shoes apt?

Well, remarkable words by Adrienne. Finding apt footwear, according to the occasion, the one which demands apt amount of attention too (sorry, if that sounded vain) is rather a task in itself, and on the top of it, if you're comfort freak - best of luck.

And since you won't be most probably having a fairy godmother (if you've seen Shrek, you would be smiling, thinking, I'm better off without one) it would obviously be an expensive affair.

Impressive, you have covered shoes from many different angles here. A very interesting and unique way of going about this topic. I especially liked Quotation #1. I continue to be impressed at the original thought and the consistently high quality of your hubs.
