"Don't Let A Grudgeful Heart Stop your Blessings"
Matthews 6 -14 & 15:
Verse 14 : But if we forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father, will also forgive you.
Verse 15 : But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive you your trespasses.
How many of us, have been misused and abused by someone close to us and how many of us have been hurt so deeply, that the pain kind of still lingers on. Well, I know the feeling, very well, because I have been there and done that but we can't let the pass hurt and heartaches block our future blessings that God has for us by holding onto petty grudges against someone. Sometimes, it's really hard to find it within our hearts to forgive someone their transgressions because it hurt so bad, but if we don't forgive and let it go, it will eat us alive. If we can only remember Jesus on the cross his suffering and what he went through and how he forgave the men their transgressions. Even while he was still hanging from the cross: he said father forgive them for they know not what they do. If Jesus could forgive someone at his moment of death how can we hold forgiveness from anyone? We're not greater than he who made us.
If we're still hurting from pass hurt and pain, we have to get over it and move on. Having a grudgeful heart always stops the blessings God has for us. We have to pray about the problem and ask God's forgiveness and let it go because hanging on to the problem is slowly destroying us and God can't work on any blessings for us because our unwillingness to forgive has blocked the process. There's ungodly people out there that live off of the pain and hurt of others but what they don't realize is God is a just God and what ever you reap, that shall ye shall sow. So be aware that your day is coming to feel all the heartaches and pain that you gave to others. Let's not carry around a hateful or vindictive heart because God wants to bless us in a special way but he can't do it, if our hearts are holding on to hate and resentment toward our fellowman. Our hearts has to be pure and clean and big enough to let go of our injuries and let God fix the problem. God can do any and all things. Just pray and ask him to fix our hearts and forgive us our transgressions and he will work it out for us. So, don't let your grudgeful heart stop you from receiving your royal blessing from Jesus because you deserve them.
