Dove Wings

Updated on December 17, 2012

Sweet, soft whispers of prayer

Escape my lips

Before I realize the words are spoken

My Father knows my need

He sends His love on dove wings

Pure and sparkling white

I feel them flutter in my soul

And know the Spirit is near

I need not feel lonely

The comforter is at my side

To wipe away tears

The embrace of His love reassures

I have nothing more to fear

Oh how I love the sound of dove wings

For I know My God is here.

Its amazing how He really comforts us! Regardless of our pain, sorrow and tears, we have this undeniable peace that we can not explain. Our God is amazing. Thank You so much for expressing the joy beating in our hearts.
