Dream Time Revelations (inspirational poetry)

Updated on December 30, 2015
Night time...day time...what knowledge gained...
Night time...day time...what knowledge gained...
In dreams...we may find our finest gains...for in the day...comes the storms and rains.
In dreams...we may find our finest gains...for in the day...comes the storms and rains.
Our greatest hope my rest in the very stars that sparkle in the night...
Our greatest hope my rest in the very stars that sparkle in the night...
As waves caress the sandy shores...so the dreams we have, nourish our own beckoning minds...
As waves caress the sandy shores...so the dreams we have, nourish our own beckoning minds...
The day to flee...the darkness flies...across the fields, in welcoming skies...
The day to flee...the darkness flies...across the fields, in welcoming skies...
conscious and unconscious thoughts to weave a pattern of brilliance...
conscious and unconscious thoughts to weave a pattern of brilliance...

Consciousness, and the unconsciousness...daylight to darkness, akin,

Conscious thoughts, an awareness, where our intelligence does begin.

In depths of night...where our dreams take flight, brilliance to transcend,

A recording mind, our human graphs, sublime, to rewrite it, over again.

The universal source...provides our voice...acquired and our inspiration,

Just as the composer, his musical score, prepares his grandest ovation.

True genius is ascribed, brightest thoughts described, our brains, to attest,

As waves caress fondest shores, all receive energy, radiant...we, at rest.

Leonardo da Vinci, Tesla, and Einstein...greater thinkers... knowledge, divine,

Mozart, Beethoven and Bach...musical geniuses...their compositions, to align.

Their works by day...envied by the best...products of the night, as minds, possessed.

Magical thoughts...brought to fruition, explode upon the page...as by wisest sage, obsessed.

Galactic minds...that owned by the meekest child...all their potential, escapes evolution,

Creativity, the root of greatest wisdom...sparked by stars, as we spin in our revolution.

Beyond the shadows, cast by the light of a Summer moon...what finest role, shall we play,

What are the depths... the capability, of the human equation... are we on this earth, to stay?

Great thoughts, and even greater examples. What shall we each aspire to do next?

"Creativity, the root of greatest wisdom...sparked by stars, as we spin in our revolution." -- love this line!

...and then the writer in hiatus begun to write again because of whonunuwho's inspirational poem.

Lovely as expected from a great poet and artist.
