DreamRunner

Last night I saw you in my dreams

Among the mist masquerading as an impostor

Painting the whole world green

You laughed hysterically leaping across the clouds

Rippling the sky heaven bound

With every heavy hearted step the deafening echo was so loud shattering my vibrations

Nothing left but a void which is hollow and makes no sound

Set adrift the magic of your essence I tried to touch you

But you skipped away; Skylights go dim

Rainbows and waterfalls transfer my soul into another entity

I can feel the dark side trying to win

The Creator lays HIS grace upon me; spiritually correcting me

I've heard it's rancid inside the beast's belly

Carefree but careful;

I followed intently while you turn into a fool

I giggle alongside Karma as it finally catches up with you

That happens when one is caught without looking

It can hurl you into a tailspin

Just when my heart sighs within

Relief whispers in my ear you are gone

Poof! you pop up again

I am ready to leave; I would like to wake

Don't think I can

The sight of you capturing my gaze

Do I dare call you "friend"?

BR, I'm absolutely in love with this writing, I don't know how to describe it? an ode or poem? but it speaks loud into a repetitive dream I have seen for several waking minutes over a week now, I feel that I'm the fool when I see it as I try to grasp the thought of catching up with an actor that I don't recognize but want the person none the less, yet never seeming to quite grasp the situation as just as I reach them they begin to turn and I'm just about to see their face and eyes and poof I'm awake and just miss the who or what holds the answer, quite bizarre to read it right now..... 50

While reading your poem, I saw it as a painting.

    Ah! My dearest Sister...

Beautifully written. An Ode to spirituality, perhaps? So full of delicate nuances and lovely verses, echoing on and off around the huge vastness of the poetry universe.

    I just loved it!

Warmest hugs and infinite heavenly blessings,

    Al
