Dreaming In Color

Updated on March 17, 2011

Close my eyes, run my hand across your empty side

Bed is cold, lonely, the smell of your cologne still lingers

Roll over onto my side curl up into myself, wishing you were

Lying next to me holding me tight

Sleep eases its way in

Dreams begin

Laughter,

Tears,

Joy,

Heartbreak,

Birth,

Sorrow,

Life,

Passion,

Giving,

Taking,

Sharing,

Blessings,

Curse,

Forgiving,

Loving,

Moaning drifting deeper into my dream,

Dreaming in color

This was really beautiful. O, how l have hated half-waking during the night and put my arm out and there´s no-one there.

      You write beautifully.

..well you certainly write in color - and your words always add another dimension to the poetic pleasures I have of reading you!

I would say this was beautiful but everyone else already took that word so I will say it has the essence of something more magnificent than most poetry I read today. Thanks for sharing you really are a great poet!
