Dreams (Haiku)

Updated on May 31, 2015
Our best, in dreams...
Our best, in dreams...
A duel life we may experience...
A duel life we may experience...
Dreams are what we make of them...
Dreams are what we make of them...
We may be, as new, in our dreams...
We may be, as new, in our dreams...
Our dreams are what we make of them...
Our dreams are what we make of them...

Doppelganger dreams,

Duel life...enchanted.

Life so real, it seems.

Not to matter, how slanted.

A chance to live twice...

Yet, are what we make of them...

One does not suffice.

When our daily lives seem dim.

Dreams, a granted wish...

Our minds, are universal.

An exotic dish,

Galaxy, controversial...

Better lives in dreams...

Bluebirds sing in bright sunshine...

Rainbow's color beams,

No worries in air, sublime.

Fearful hours, dream time...

Is time to trade...then to wake.

Our dreams, meant for rest,

As a warming sun to break.

In our dreams, If we are frightened...we may awaken and be renewed...after all...it was only a dream...
In our dreams, If we are frightened...we may awaken and be renewed...after all...it was only a dream...

Dreams are so interesting. Sometimes good and sometimes scary or troublesome, they are a portal into our inner thoughts and concerns.

Dreams, indeed, allow our mind to free-fall, whether we want to do so or not? Are you German? Just curious, as you opened with a German word.
