The Creator

The opening drama of life begins with God,

Elohim is a Hebrew term for Creator,

The Hebrew language is the only one that helped me to understand, and

Provided me with clarification of who created everything,

How did I miss this truth in the Book of Genesis?

That it is the Creator who created,

Do I know and understand it was the Creator?

As life opened with the majesty of such a rich start

Inviting me into the world and opening life's door, with breath

Giving to the creature everything needed to live here,

In the beginning, the Creator created!

Breath said, let there be light, and there was light,

The Creator saw the light that it was good, and

Divided the light from the darkness,

Making it the first full day,

The Creator resides in abundant light,

There is no darkness where that abode is,

Where does the Creator live?

In the brilliance of perfect eternity,

I reside in time subject to correction and changes,

Sin set in motion all the darkness,

As the earth was without form and void,

It was an empty space and place, and dark,

Until it was filled with glory!

Now the earth is full of the glory of the Creator,

Can you see eternal light shining into time?

See beyond and pass the darkness,

Look to the light of the Creator!

Every nation should know the Creator, and

Be thankful and praise the Creator as Creator,

I am grateful the Hebrew language gave me a tug,

Towards believing and trusting in the Creator,

But, do I realize now that only the Creator creates, and, that

Creating never ends because that is what the Creator does!
