Emotionally Artistic

Updated on April 24, 2013

Write your thoughts and emotions, pouring them fluidly upon the page
Seeking wisdom from within as if you were some kind of sage

Therapy through art, through words and linguistic expressions
Reading over them time and time again with different sensations

When sad, read what you wrote when happy, pull yourself out of the mess
When happy, read what you wrote when sad, appreciate your happiness

Better understanding with hindsight in order for you to deal
Time to heal wounds, re-experience joy, improve the way you feel

Living once again, vicariously through yourself you find
The troubles you once faced were all within your mind

Not to say that imagination plays such a big role
But exaggerated emotions put tremendous weight upon your soul

Find humor in the times that were filled with sorrow
And find hope in the promise of a better tomorrow.
