Empty rising

Updated on April 9, 2010

This void

Black hole

Empty rising from deep

Inside me

This soul tie plagues every

Part of me

Innocence lost

My one promise broken

Every voice in my head

Lingers to speak again

Your dirty faces won’t wash

Away the shame

Every battle won

Lost in a short time

I've forgotten my victories

It's defeated the very core

That has held me together

Where will I begin?

A place to piece it all

Back together

Please God close your eyes

I was the one who drove the

Stake into your sons side

Every angel in heaven flies away

To the side where my cries can’t be heard

I feel it all coming back together again

Where I started

Where I'll end

Yes. another hole, and we are all guilty of the crucifixion of innocence. Keep writing, I'll read as much as I can. x Charlie
