Taking a Moment

Hello guys,

It has been a while since I posted on hubpages. Unfortunately I lost my full time job and I have been writing full time as a freelancer, and haven't been able to work as much on here for the hobby of it. I also don't know if I would be breaking any kind of contract to post articles on here that I have written for someone else, so I'd have to look into that.

I simply wanted to say its been a pleasure working with the talent that I've interacted with and never quite writing, you all have a gift. I will continue to be on here, just finding it more and more hard to actually contribute when I'm writing 20,000 plus words on some assignments alone, it can be quite overwhelming, yet necessary. Please be in touch and let me know how you are

I write on Elance as of right now, but normally I get paid 1.00 per 100 words, depending on research and content i've gotten as much as 65 for 5 articles. I will definitely check out writeraccess.com, can you give me a general idea as to what their payout is ?

You might be interested in WriterAccess.com. I write for them. Level 2 projects do not pay very well as compared to the higher levels, but some of them are so easy, that the amount of time it takes to do them kind of makes up for the low pay per word.

You get knocked down you need to pick yourself up...can't let it run you down when you have little ones and a wife to provide for...

Surprisingly freelance has opened up a lot of doors. I've been networked through a lot of places primarily using E-Lance and paying the 10 a month to properly sponsor myself. I've found myself working for clients all over the world and it's exciting.

Some projects are exciting, some are flat our boring...but money is money. As I get more of a portfolio I can be more picky, but for the time being im tackling every assignment that comes. Its actually exiting

Hang in there! I know that freelance writing can make it difficult to find time for writing for the sheer fun of it. And your family, of course, needs to have time with you. Things get better even when it doesn't seem like they will. Don't let the negative define you!
