Evening Bliss
Evening Bliss
The air is sweet.
The night is chill.
Gentle breezes stir,
Wander where they will.
Flames leap and dance
In the bonfire's glow,
Shadows sway faintly
In sensuous show.
Bright twinkling stars
Adorn velvet sky.
Evening awe whispers,
Muse secretly sigh.
The moon, plump and full,
Peeks through the trees.
Her pale satin shimmer
A soft, playful tease.
There's a presence of power
Alive in the air,
Coaxing my spirit
From worry and care.
To know for a moment
Such glory and bliss
Is to capture and cherish
God's own tender kiss.
