Eyes Vol.9: The Eye of the Spiral

Updated on October 4, 2013

What do i do?

Question everything?
Each step is in a different direction
I don't stop when i hit a wall
Looking at it as another surface to walk on

Reassuring myself
Could it?
It could?
At once all be dismissed
But i'd rather spark this argument
Breaking the bondage
With eyes closed
Interrogating my curiosities
My bleeding mind overflows

Who is she?
Is she me?
He who truly believes anything
Has been mislead

Salty tears
Are they shed for me?
Is there a Galaxy in every drop?
Speaking silence
An anxious assault
Revealing to me
An unseen direction

A camera flash carries me back
To a place that i had forgotten
One in which I've always been

With our hands pressed together

Your fingers sink into a hole in my palm
I can feel your arms reaching up the length of mine
We melt down into a single mold
An ever evolving

Burning Cold

Your icy fingers
Trace a trail
From the bottom of my back
To the top of my neck
The hairs are standing straight up
Waiting to greet you

Your other hand rests on my forehead
Where life once again began to live
This time inside of this scull

Take a few steps back
This isn't where you've always stood
Jump forward
A relapse trap
Showing you yourself
Before you started

We are together
We never departed
One in the same
Expressed so differently

Hold you
Holding me
Holding you
Fall into yourself

Close your eyes
Dream openly
Tell me a story
Of the approaching morning

I held my finger on your lips

Preventing you from speaking
Your eyes shine
In the absence of light
Try as i may,
I can't resist the urge
Of removing my finger
Another kiss
Tasting your lips
Leading you back to the whomb in my mind
Showers of stars
To entertain us

Each of us have a single breath to steal
Yet so many parts of our mind to blow away.

All of my school aged kidods are involved with some kind of extra-curricular activy. My 16 year old son is on the drumline at his high school, my pre-teen daughter is on the volleyball and softball teams and my 8 year old son is half way to his black belt in Taekwondo. My little guy who stays home with me and does flash cards during the day has extra-curricular activites of napping and cuddling with Mommy and Daddy! =)

My kidlet is too small for soohcl yet, but on shopping in general, I take him a lot. But some days I just crave the freedom of cruising through a store on my own timeline. The things you appreciate when you're a Mom! LOL
