Fall O

Updated on September 12, 2014

Fall O

Turn me into blue

So I don’t see red

Don’t feel red

So I won’t be red

Just walk away

Words

Down the page

Land into the empty abyss

Like my tears -yet

Still amidst my pain

I’m plain

A terrain

Of vacancies

Not worth filling up

Because my voids

Avoid all calamity

At the hands of those

I both

Love and loathe

Because

Loneliness is priceless

Yet worth all

It’s worth…

A poem about following and loneliness...Maryanne D. Brown Campbell is author of books: Serpentine Tongue and Food for the Soul, available at www.authorhouse.com, www.amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.

Feelings of emptiness and loneliness are solidly felt here. I is a great piece of writing. Bob.
