Poem: Falling down illusion
Falling down on my knees
waiting for a miracle...
Falling down on my knees
with my eyes open wide,
watching the ground get closer,
feeling the pain inside...
Couldn't see his disguise.
Couldn't see the devil in his eyes.
I'm lonely,
in this desert,
blinded by all the lies...
A demon calling from inside,
followed his voice
and burned in hell
with all the desires
and passions of the world...
Illusions
and kisses,
rehearsing some play
in which I had no part...
Stood in the stairs
watching the hoods...
Stood in the stairs
watching myself sleep...
Lonesome and innocent
and my energy and dreams,
dissolving in the sky,
losing consciousness from reality,
insecure and afraid
from touches I left behind...
Falling down on my knees,
wishing someone to rescue me,
aching for help...
Falling down on my knees
in the darkness,
in silence...
Stood in the stairs
watching my demon
carrying my dreams...
Stood in the stairs
trying to understand,
wishing for him to be my angel,
dreaming of my angel...
Screams in a dark forest,
cries in the night...
The sound that makes
my shattered heart...
Inside,
my soul breathes the silence
and prays for light
as he comes back
to haunt me
and I can't set myself free...
Falling down on my knees,
over and over again...
Standing in the forest,
lost, waiting...
Falling down on my knees,
never easy...
Stood in the stairs,
listening to his promises,
listening to his lies,
unable of saying goodbye...
Swept into an everlasting fire,
trying to set myself free...
Craving an angel
Craving a touch
Aching to be saved.
Praying for the sun...
Falling down on my knees for you.
Falling down on my knees for salvation...
