Fight to be Free
I cleared my head
And let my body be
I screamed to the world
What do you expect out of me?
*
You've handed me lemons
And I've tried to make lemonade
But yet I keep getting blocked
And my goals are starting to fade
*
I'm lost in the darkness
I don't know which way to turn
I've done what has been asked
Can't you see I am trying to learn
*
I want things to turn around
But there are always rocks in my way
I no longer want to be here
But you keep asking me to stay
*
Giving up seems like defeat
Continuing is so difficult
But I can't give anyone else the blame
When really it is all my fault
*
Actions have consequences
What you do sets a path
The results are predictable
You do the math
*
An action for an action
A head for a head
If you choose the wrong way
It won't be long before your dead
*
When given the choice
Which way do you go
Taking the wrong way
You end up with a tag on your toe
*
Choose correctly
And you will see
I won't be around
Because you left without me
*
I seem to be stuck
In this situation non grada
When I am desperately in need
I always get nada
*
More great poetry
- Sometimes I Die
I look to the sky for answers- nothing but clouds and rain I look to my friends for answers- nothing but a pat on the shoulder I look to my family for answers- they never make an attempt I look... - The Princess of the Lake
Once upon a time, it can be found Without any warning, whatsoever That two hearts and souls are bound With the greatest word forever Beyond the horizon is a place Where the sun and moon collide...
I seek a new way
I'm trying to get out
I know I sound desperate
I really don't mean to pout
*
I want you to lead me
Please show me the way
I want out of the darkness
I want you to stay
*
I need that knight in shining armor
I want someone to rescue me
I am stuck in the darkness
Yet I just want to be set free
*
So here I sit, clearing my head
Screaming at the world to let me be
A fight to be dead
Or a fight to be free
